Lima sets the tone with coastal light, layered history, and one of the most compelling culinary scenes in the world. Colonial facades stand beside contemporary galleries, while Pacific views frame neighborhoods like Miraflores and Barranco. Tambopata-Puerto Maldonado:

Tambopata National Reserve

We arrive in Puerto Maldonado and quickly leave the city behind. A boat ride on the Madre de Dios River takes us straight into the rainforest — canopy overhead, riverbanks alive, and that feeling of being far from everything. From Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica, the Amazon becomes hands-on: morning excursions by river, guided jungle walks, and canopy pathways that lift you above the forest floor. Between outings, you return to comfort — a place to slow down, reset, and take it all in. This is Tambopata up close — active, wild, and well-paced.

Day 3|Puerto Maldonado - Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica

Arrive in Puerto Maldonado and head straight to the river. A scenic boat ride along the Madre de Dios brings you to Inkaterra Reserva Amazónica, where your cabin sits tucked into the rainforest. After a warm welcome and a quick orientation, settle in — hammock time, jungle sounds, and your first real pause in the Amazon. Later, join a guided walk on forest trails to start reading the landscape: towering trees, birds overhead, and movement in the canopy. At dusk, we head back out on the river. As daylight fades, the jungle changes — quieter, closer — with chances to spot nocturnal life along the banks before returning to the lodge.

Sacred Valley:

Valley of the Incas

Two days in the Inca heartland — begin with the craft traditions of Chinchero's master weavers, then bike through the valley past Moray's terraced circles and the salt pans of Maras. The second day brings a Via Ferrata and zipline above the Andes before ending in the cobblestoned streets of Ollantaytambo, your gateway to Machu Picchu.

Day 6|Chinchero Weavers & Exclusive Sacred Valley Biking Experience

We begin in Chinchero, where master weavers share the techniques, natural dyes, and symbolism behind Andean textiles — a cultural encounter that feels personal, not staged. Then the day shifts into motion. We set out on a half-day biking route through the Sacred Valley, riding along rural roads with terraces, farms, and small villages unfolding around you. It’s active, scenic, and intentionally paced — with support on hand so the focus stays on the experience. Along the way, we stop at Moray and the Salt Pans of Maras, two of the valley’s most distinctive sites. After lunch, we return by private transport to your hotel in the Sacred Valley to reset for what’s next.

Machu Picchu:

Wonder of the World

Board the Vistadome at Ollantaytambo and disembark at KM 104, where the trail begins. Original Inca stone steps climb through cloud forest, past the ruins of Wiñay Wayna, and up to the Sun Gate — where your first view of Machu Picchu arrives on foot, the way it was meant to be seen. The night is spent in Aguas Calientes, rested and ready for the full citadel visit the following morning.

Day 8|KM 104 - One Day Inca Trail to Machupicchu

Today is your Machu Picchu approach day, and it’s a special one because you arrive on foot, through the Andes, following a section of the Inca Trail. The route is manageable but rewarding, with cloud-forest scenery, Inca stonework, and sites along the way that make the trail feel like part of the story, not just the path to the destination. The real payoff is reaching the Sun Gate and getting your first view of Machu Picchu from above, a moment that usually goes quiet because everyone is just taking it in. After that first look, the day stays focused on the arrival experience, while the full guided visit inside the citadel is saved for the next day, so you can enjoy it with fresh energy and without rushing.

Cusco:

The Imperial City — A Farewell

The journey's final chapter opens inside Machu Picchu itself — a full guided visit to the citadel's main viewpoints and key areas before the scenic train return to Cusco. The city receives you differently after everything you've seen. What remains is a proper encounter with Cusco: Qorikancha, the Cathedral, San Pedro Market, and time to simply wander before your departure.

Day 9|The Citadel of Machu Picchu & Return to Cusco

Today is the day you really get to meet Machu Picchu. With your guide, you’ll explore the citadel’s main viewpoints and key areas, so the site feels less like a postcard and more like a place with purpose, design, and story. If you want to add a physical challenge, you can also choose an extra hike to Huayna Picchu for that dramatic top-down view, or Machu Picchu Mountain for wider panoramas across the valley, depending on permits and availability. After the visit, there’s time to head back down to Aguas Calientes for a relaxed lunch and a breather before the journey back. The return train ride is part of the experience too, with beautiful Sacred Valley scenery unfolding outside the windows on the way to Ollantaytambo. From there, a private transfer takes you back to Cusco, and by the time you’re back in the city, it feels like you’ve just lived through one of those rare days that stays with you long after the trip ends.
