Itinerary

Lima:

Where Modern Flavors Meet Pacific Heritage

Perched along Peru’s dramatic Pacific coastline, Lima blends ocean breezes with a vibrant urban energy. The city’s elegant colonial architecture—18th-century haciendas, baroque facades, and historic plazas—stands alongside extraordinary reminders of Peru’s ancient past, showcased in world-class museums such as Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre District. Along the coastal avenues of Miraflores District, surfers head toward the Pacific while cafés and parks overlook the sweeping cliffs of the Costa Verde. Meanwhile, the bohemian quarter of Barranco District comes alive with art, music, and the timeless ritual of a perfectly shaken Pisco Sour. Lima’s dining scene is among the most celebrated in the world, earning the city recognition as the culinary capital of Latin America. From refined restaurants to thousands of traditional ceviche eateries—where Peru’s iconic dish, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage—Lima offers a gastronomic experience as vibrant and diverse as the country itself.
