Classic Inca Trail Trek to Machupicchu | 5 Days

The Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is Peru's most iconic trek, leading to the legendary Sacred City of the Incas. This 43-km (26.8-mile) route follows a historic cobblestone path from the fertile Sacred Valley at 2,800 m (9,128 ft) and climbs to the renowned Dead Woman's Pass at 4,200 m (13,776 ft), above the tree line. From there, the trail winds through high mountain passes and secluded valleys, passing remarkable archaeological sites built in astonishing locations with masterful Inca engineering, before descending into a lush cloud forest teeming with Andean flora and fauna. The blend of dramatic mountain scenery, mysterious ruins, and the unique energy of the region makes this trek an unforgettable journey. This five-day program offers a peaceful alternative to the crowded four-day route, allowing you to reach more remote, scenic, and tranquil campsites along the trail.
