DAY 1 - MORNING CUSCO ARRIVAL - AFTERNOON HALF CITY TOUR

A transportation service awaits for you upon arrival at the Cusco Airport to transfer you to your hotel and take some rest, this day you will have time to visit the midtown your own.

In the afternoon you will meet your guide enjoy a fully-guided tour of Cusco to experience the beauty of the capital of the Inca Empire up close and learn about the history, temples and heritage of the Inca people at nearby archaeological sites.

DAY 2- MARAS MORAY, SALT PONDS AND CHINCHEROS

In the morning, we learn more about agriculture during the empire visiting the Inca ruins of Moray, ancient experimental and agricultural center; and afterwards the salt mines of Maras, impressive conglomerate of over three thousand terraces where salt is stored since the Inca time till today.

Next, we visit Chincheros. Chinchero is a small Andean, Indian village located at 3,762 meters high, on the windswept plains of Anta, about 30 km from Cusco. There are beautiful views overlooking the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with the Cordillera Vilcabamba and the snow-capped peak of Salkantay dominating the western horizon.

DAY 3 - SACRED VALLEY-PISAC - OLLANTAYTAMBO

Early Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day at the Pisac market, which has stands that exhibit and sell product from the residents of the area. Continue to the Pisac archeological site, which has the largest complex of terraces in the area and is and agricultural masterpiece of the Inca Empire. Next, we have lunch at a local restaurant, followed by visit Ollantaytambo archeological complex a masterpiece of Incan monumental architecture. Ollantaytambo was an impregnable fort and ceremonial site, yet maybe its most eye-catching aspect is the terraced hillsides. A battle was fought here between Spanish and Incan armies, one of the few that the Conquistadors actually lost. Afterwards, the tour moves to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as a “living Inca city” and the finest surviving example of Inca city planning.

DAY 4 - AGUAS CALIENTE S - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

Today is the day of your Machu Picchu tour, This amazing inca citadel is one of the world most important archeological sites .First, you will take the train through some of the most outstanding countryside in the department of Cusco to the town of Aguas Calientes, the staging ground for the ascent to the ruins. Then, you will board the buses that take the twisting mountain road to the gate of the archeological site. Our professional tour guide will show you all the highlights of Machu Picchu, explaining the history that envelopes this mysterious and enchanting place: an unforgettable experience. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore, to relax, or to meditate. Later, lunch will be served in Aguas Calientes, also called Machu Picchu town.

DAY 5 - DEPART TO CUSCO

In the morning you will catch the train from Machu Picchu railway station to Ollantaytambo heading back to Cusco. Average time arrival to Cusco at 4:00 pm.
